“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”
- A person who thinks about God only when they periodically attend church, does not have a “Christian walk”, they have a false claim. Heaven, peace, joy, God, Jesus, faith, hope, love, etc., do not depend on situations and circumstances. They depend on where you have your heart and your mind. Our focus, loyalty, faith, and dependency, should always be on God the Father and Jesus Christ, our Savior. If your goal is to work, save money, and retire, so you can have a few years of rest and relaxation before you go to heaven, you more than likely do not understand the price that was paid, and you may be headed to a different destination.
- What really matters to you?
- What are you doing now that will have value 100 years from now?
- Where will you be 100 years from now?
How do you know?
