“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.”
- If we have no fear of God, and no desire to please Him, our whole life is lived in vain. If we truly realize how much God loves us, our only priority will be to love and please Him. When we give our lives to Christ, and ask Him to take over our lives and forgive us of our sins, He does just that. We will still be judged, but we will be judged as righteous, through the sacrifice He paid on the cross. If you pursue nothing else in this life, pursue Jesus.
- What will be your defense when it is your day to be judged?
Romans 4:7-8 “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Romans 8:1-2 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.””
Dear Lord, may we humble ourselves and love You with all our hearts, our souls, and our minds, and may we love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Amen
