“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.”
- If you are not assured of your salvation by the Holy Spirit within you, you need to be sure that you have truly been saved. Salvation does not come with a knowledge of Christ; it comes with submission to Christ. If you have submitted yourself to Christ, you will know by the Holy Spirit in you that you are saved.
- Are you walking in victory because the Holy Spirit in you affirms your salvation, or are you hoping everything works out in the end? One walk brings peace, the other brings anxiety.
- As a professing Christian, are you living in the power and in the freedom available through the Holy Spirit?
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
