“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
- The purpose of our existence is no mystery. It is revealed in this passage. We were not formed, nor are we called, into mere existence. We were created in Christ Jesus for good works. The good works that we were created for do not save us, salvation is from God’s grace when we place our faith in Him. The purpose of our good works is for God’s glory, not ours. If you have committed your life to Jesus Christ, God has already prepared good works for you to do. After we have received Christ as Savior, our works should always be an overflowing of Christ in us.
- How are you being a testimony to the greatness of God by the way you are living your life?
- Are you fulfilling the purpose God has for your life?
- What good works are evident in your life that are bringing glory to God?
Isaiah 7:9 “You will stand on your faith or you won’t stand at all.”
