“For Mordecai the Jew was second in rank to King Ahasuerus, and he was great among the Jews and popular with the multitude of his brothers, for he sought the welfare of his people and spoke peace to all his people.”
- When we seek the welfare of others, and live in peace with them, God will reward us far better than we could have thought. The reward may not be a greater status, but it will always be a deeper faith, and a greater peace.
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.”
