“Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”
- We often feel as though God is calling us to speak or act for Him. Often, the next thoughts are reasons that the calling would probably be better carried out by someone else. We think of our present short comings, or our past failures, and determine that “the calling” would never work. When God moves us to a task, we have just become the most qualified person on earth for that task. We will never find comfort and peace with disobedience.
