Job 26:4

“With whose help have you uttered words, and whose breath has come out from you?”

  • Oh, that we could understand who formed us in our mother’s womb and loved us enough to send His Son to die for us! When we grasp that understanding, our speech will change to honor Him always.

John 5:5-9

“One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked” Many of us have a “sin affliction”, that we have been in for years and years. We feel helpless in our sin, and cannot see how to overcome it. The question we must answer is, “Do you want to be freed from it?”. Jesus is the way out. He is ready and willing to heal us, and cleanse us. If we will just believe Him and trust Him, He will heal us and give us a life we thought would never be possible. Ask and it will be given. Seek and you shall find. If you want to be healed, Jesus Is

John 4:39-42

“Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” So, when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers. They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”” At first the Samaritans believed because of what they had heard, but later they believed because of what they had experienced. The people of the city did not just hear about Jesus from the woman, and claim Him; they went to Him, heard for themselves what He had to say, and made a personal decision to believe in Him, and follow Him. Jesus wants your belief to be based on a personal relationship with Him. You can believe because of what someone has told you, but the experience of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is what changes your life. Your salvation can never be based off someone else’s testimony. Your claim of Christianity is real,

John 4:28-29

“So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?”” After meeting and learning about Jesus at the well, this Samaritan woman left her water jar at the well, and went to tell the Samaritan people about Jesus. She was radically changed and excited. After an encounter with Jesus, the woman at the well forgot her routine task of getting water at the well, and her whole focus changed. Her desire to tell others about Jesus totally engulfed her purpose for living. A relationship with Jesus will change your priorities. Have you left your water jar at the well, or do your routine task and personal worldly needs seem more important than your Savior? Do you see your need for a Savior?

John 3:36

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” Belief in Jesus, and obedience to Him, is the key to your eternity in heaven. True belief requires obedience. When you claim belief in Christ, and there is no evidence of your faith, you are living a lie. In the end, Jesus is the only investment that will matter. How much time today will you focus on your belief and your obedience? If you were put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

John 3:30

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” — The evidence of Christian growth in our lives is when our focus is continually growing toward Christ and fading from self! We must answer and live like John the Baptist did when asked about Jesus. Our lives must be committed to exalting the name of Jesus Christ. We only have so much room in our hearts and in our minds, let us work together on giving it all to Christ! You are loved. When we decrease in self, we increase in Christ and He is exalted, not us. As we learn to humble ourselves, He will lift us up. When Jesus is the object and focus of our desires, we will exemplify Him, grow closer to Him, and find true joy and peace in Him. May God be glorified in our lives. Is Christ becoming greater in your life? Is His will taking more precedence in your life than your own self will? Is your focus more on what you desire for your life or on what Christ desires for your life? Is a change needed? Is Jesus becoming more apparent in your life daily? Weekly? Monthly? Yearly? Can the world even

John 3:16-18

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” Jesus came not for condemnation, but for salvation. He did not come to wave evidence of our sins in front of us and hope we get better, but to save us from the consequences of our sins by taking the punishment for us. Grasp the love poured out in these two verses of scripture and love Jesus back. God’s desire is not to punish us, but to save us. He does not want us to get to know Him when we die, but He wants to start that relationship with us now. To benefit from a gift, it must be received and applied to what it was intended. Many claim to have received the gift of salvation but they hide this gift in the closet and mix in
