“Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.”
- Jesus is telling us to quit asking for mercy for ourselves, but justice for others. It is sad how we want the rules to change when it is someone else who is doing wrong, or we are offended by something they have done.
- When you speak, who gets the glory?
- Do you speak of what you have done and accomplished, or what Christ has done in you?
