Mark 16:5-6

“As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”

  • Death had no victory over Jesus Christ, and it has no victory over those who have received Him as Lord of their life. All barriers between God and man have been removed. It is your decision on whether you will seek God through His Son, Jesus Christ. If you believe in Jesus, live in the victory that He paid for you to have.

Luke 24:5-6 “In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen…”

Matthew 28:5-6 “The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

Mark 15:38 “And the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.”

Mark 16:4 “And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large.”

Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

James 4:8 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

Ephesians 2:18 “For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.”

Job 2:7-10

“So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took a piece of broken pottery with which to scrape himself while he sat in the ashes. Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.” When your faith in God is unwavering; your praise, commitment, and loyalty to God will also be unwavering.

Job 1:20-22

“Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.” Job lost all his possessions, including his 10 children, and yet in his pain and sorrow, he worshipped God. Job’s worship of God did not depend on his situations and circumstances, because his relationship with God was more important than anything else in his life.   If you lost everything else, would Jesus be enough? Will you praise God in every situation and circumstance? What would keep you from worshiping God? If you answer anything, God is not your top priority.

Job 1:1

“There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.” What are you known for? Does your reputation include blameless, upright, and God-fearing? If you are okay with your current reputation, how can you be growing in Christ? James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.”

Ephesians 6:19

“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,” We should all seek the prayers of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. These prayers that we seek should be requested with the intent that God will be glorified and honored in our lives in whatever situation or circumstance may be present.  Likewise, we should remain in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ so that their lives may be ever-glorifying to our Father.

Ephesians 6:10-13

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” When people are walking with God and seeking His will there will not be angry conflicts and hatred present. When they are present, either one side or both sides have no thoughts of pleasing God because pride and a false sense of entitlement has taken over. May we remember that the one who loves will always be at peace and that Light will always overcome darkness. Whatever problems we have with other people can be fixed when Jesus is given control. The situation or circumstance may not change but the heart will. Our ability to love others depends on our understanding of this scripture verse. Our struggle is not against people. Our struggles are against the evil that is

Ephesians 5:25-28

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.” Jesus loves His church unconditionally. He will never ignore us, turn His back on us, refuse to stand for us or be separated from us in any way. Jesus loves us even when we complain, we are unfaithful, we give so much attention to other things, and the list goes on and on. His love is unconditional and so should ours be for our wives. Love God with all your heart and use the example Jesus set and the power of the Holy Spirit to love your wife unconditionally. No excuses or conditions, just love, regardless of situations and circumstances. Do you love your wife? How much? How deeply? How does your love for your wife measure up to the love Christ
