“And Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” And they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.” And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.””
- Your peace on this earth and your eternal destination are dependent on your answer to this question. Not just the answer from your lips, but the answer from your heart. Your response is personal, and you must answer the question. Hanging with Christians does not make you one. What other people believe about Jesus Christ will not determine your destiny, nor will what your parents, pastor, or friends believe. The response is personal! You must answer the question of who Jesus is to receive salvation.
