“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
- Jesus told His disciples to go out and share with others what He had taught them. He wanted them to tell the good news of salvation, and explain to others how they could become followers of Christ. The charge to spread the Gospel and make disciples is not just a suggestion, it is a command. Jesus also told us that He would always be with us. When we know Jesus and recognize His authority, take action to make disciples and teach, and constantly pray, we can walk in assurance and peace through all situations and circumstances.
- What has Jesus done for you? Who have you told?
- Who are you mentoring, and who is mentoring you?
- Are you making disciples?
- Are you teaching and living God’s word?
- Are you one of Christ’s disciples?
