“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.”
- We should make plans and set our course whole heatedly on those plans, but always have a heart that is willing to change as God makes his plans clear. Obedience to God will always bring joy and peace.
- Do your plans align with God’s purpose!
- Do you seek God’s direction before you make your plans?
- Would we not be better off to align our plans with God’s than to try to align His plans with ours?
Proverbs 16:9 “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
Dear Lord, when we plan, may we stop and seek council from You before we act and regret that we did not. Amen
