“Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Our God is a God of salvation, and to God, the Lord, belong deliverances from death.”
- The phrase “daily bears us up” reveals to us that God is always with us, and the phrase “belong deliverances from death” reveals to us God’s authority to save us. Each day on this earth is a gift from God. The ultimate gift, for those who know Jesus Christ as their Savior, is when their days on this earth are over. If you are not praising God, you either do not know Christ as your Savior or you do not understand God’s promises. We should praise God, rest in His presence, tell of His greatness, and share His love.
- God will “daily bear our burdens”, so why would we ever try to bear them alone?
- When is the last time you brought God up in a conversation?
- How do you show your love to God?
Psalm 59:9-10 “You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely….”
Psalm 59:16-17 “But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.”
