“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.”
- The trials we go through can be a test of our faith that God is putting us through, or they may occur so that He can be glorified in our lives and the lives of others. Often what we think is a trial, is God allowing us to take the reins of our life that we claim to have given to Him. When we continue to reject God, deny God, or even claim God but refuse to obey Him, He will eventually allow us to go down the path we have chosen. God does not desire an occasional devotion from His children; He desires for them to be fully devoted. Eternal life in paradise is at the of God’s path, but all other paths lead to destruction.
- What is at the end of the path you are traveling?
Romans 1:24-25 “Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.”
