“and he judges the world with righteousness; he judges the peoples with uprightness. The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.”
- The trust you claim to have in God will be proven or disproven during worldly trials and tribulations. For those who know Christ there is no defeat and our temporary hardships are meant only to draw us closer to God. Death on this earth is our ultimate victory. God loved us so much that He gave His only Son to die on a cross to pay for the sins that we committed. In our weakness we sometimes stray from God, but the payment is still valid. He knew us on our worst day and still loved us that much. He loves us and we are His children, so nothing can separate us from Him because we are forgiven, redeemed, and justified by the blood of His Son. Praise God for His mercy and His grace, for we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
- Our biggest problem, many times, is that we do not truly seek God! We claim God and then feel like He owes us peace and joy forever, but peace and joy come, regardless of situations and circumstances, when we choose to walk daily in God’s will with full faith that He is who He says He is and He does what He says He’ll do. When trouble arises in our lives, we should understand that God have never left us and that He never will. We may not always be in God’s house, but we can always be in His presence.
- Will your faith hold true or will you need to seek God on a deeper level to develop true faith?
- Where is your heart today?
Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”
Dear Lord, give us strength so that we may we glorify you in all things and in all situations. Amen
