“When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, “Alas, my master. What shall we do?” He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
- We must understand that when the situation seems hopeless, God is still with us. God has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us. Regardless of the situation, let your faith remain strong.
1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Open our eyes, dear Lord, so that we may see and understand that we are never alone when we are walking in Your will. May we never feel helpless or defeated, but serve You boldly, in every situation and circumstance. Amen
