John 5:24

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”

  • Our purpose is God’s glory, if we are His. If you have received the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, share that information with someone, and give all glory to God. No other gift will ever compare to the Gift of eternal life through Jesus.
  • Have you accepted this Gift?
  • Is the Gift open and being used?
  • Would Jesus testify that you have given your life to Him?
  • Who do you live to please?

John 5:36-37“But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me. 37 And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen”

John 18:36

“Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”” For what purpose do you fight and struggle for each day? Is the Kingdom of God in your focus?

John 18:10, 25

John 18:10 “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear.” John 18:25 “Meanwhile, Simon Peter was still standing there warming himself. So they asked him, “You aren’t one of his disciples too, are you?” He denied it, saying, “I am not.”” On this night, the crowd Peter was with dictated his stand for Christ. Many of us have also been guilty of this very thing. Jesus promised to never to leave us or forsake us, and we should never deny Him, or refuse to stand for Him. If you lose everything else on earth, is Jesus enough for you?  Dear Lord, may we boldly stand for Christ, regardless of other’s beliefs, and regardless of if they accept us or not, because He is all we need. Amen

John 17:5

“And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.” Our future glory is only possible because Jesus chose to leave His ultimate glory, for a time, so that it could be. We must understand the depth of the gift of Christ.

John 16:33

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” The question is not, if we will have tribulation, we will. The question is, when we have tribulation, will we fully trust Jesus and believe the words that He spoke. “These things” that Jesus is talking about, are revealed to us when we study God’s Word. When we give our lives to Christ, and let Him have control each day, we will live in peace through the tribulations. This life is not the end for those who have committed their lives to Christ.
