Matthew 10:32-33

“So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.”

  • This means more than your response when you are asked if you are a Christian. It includes how you talk, live, and how you share Christ. Mixing in with the world, with no difference seen, is not acknowledging Christ. Your actions should confirm your faith, but your tongue should also profess it. Others should not have to guess your faith. Tell someone today where you find hope.
  • How close is “denial” to “refusing to speak about Jesus when the Holy Spirit prompts you”?
  • If others were asked about your faith, what would they say? Would they know? Do you care?
  • How many people, who you have been around, have heard you acknowledge Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?
  • Do you acknowledge Christ before others in both your words and actions, or do others have no idea that you are a Christian?
  • Maybe you can honestly say you that you have not denied Jesus before men, but how much have you proclaimed Him?
